Le Pont des Arts & Le Monde vivant (R2)
These two Eugene Green films came out in France last week - they've been a while in coming, but the interesting thing is that both discs include English subs (no extras, however).
DVDFr indicate no subs for either disc, but I can confirm that "Le Pont des Arts" definitely has them as I bought it and I've just quickly tried the disc out. I didn't buy "Le Monde vivant" as I saw it at the cinema (and again last time it was on TV5), but I did have a look at it instore and the box indicates English subs also, despite what DVDFr etc indicate.
Anyway, two interesting films that may appeal to the fans of French film out there...
Dazza.

Let me add my recommendation for these two films. Especially if you've only seen Olivier Gourmet in more somber roles like his work with the Dardenne brothers - both he and Denis Podalydes give hilarious performances in "Le Pont des Arts".
It's good to see that these have English subtitles. So does Green's earlier film, "Toutes les nuits", also available on French R2 DVD. But even if they didn't, the way Green has his characters speak is very clear and slow, though perhaps articulated a bit strange. It is very friendly to French language learners though.
