Peking Opera Blues - any good DVD versions?
Never seen this movie, but it appears on many top 10 lists for Hong Kong cinema so it must be worth checking out. Anyone know of a decent DVD release?

It's time to get it, this film is out of print on some sites. You have the choice between Deltamac and Mega Star editions.
From what I've read, the Mega Star has better image quality and compression although the film is a little bit cropped.
I heard about a HK Legends release, but couldn't find any info.
My favourite Tsui Hark's film is "The Blade", POB is not a masterpiece but a nice little film though.

If you can be patient Joy Sales has concrete plans to release this remastered down the road.
I don't know if i'd call it a masterpiece but it is what I consider Tsui Hark's best movie he has made.

Thanks for the lists.
Does it mean all the titles in the HQ DVD list will be released ?
If yes, I'll wait for "POB", "Duel To The Death", "Royal Tramp II", "Tiger Cage II", "Yes, Madam" and maybe
"Zu: Warriors From The Magic Mountain" (depending on the quality compared to the "not english friendly"
french edition ).

Our company will soon be releasing the entire Fortune Star collection including over 600 Hong Kong classic titles that released throughout the 70's to the 90's, of which there will be over 100 titles digitally remastered.
