Come and See (2DVD) April 24
 

Here's the cover work for the upcoming double set of Klimov's Come and See. Preliminary info indicates a new, remastered, print which should hopefully be much more pleasing when compared to the R1 disc. Street date April 24th.

Great News

I own the OOP 2 disc Kino DVD. I wonder if the extras are the same....

Also the movie strangely stops half way through, and then you have to pop in the second disc for the last 40mins or so....which is alright...but it would be great if they put it all on one disc

My version is also Full Screen. Pro-b do you know if this will change...or maybe that was the original aspect ratio.

The extras really opened my eyes...the interview with the director talking about, as a child, fleeing his city on a boat as it was burning to the ground, and him peeking from under the canvas he was hiding under...truly riveting stuff. The interview with the child on the front cover as an older man is stunning too.

I cannot recommend this film highly enough

Its one of those films that'll shine through even a dodgy presentation...but the fact that they are improving it is good news indeed

1.37:1 is most definitely the correct aspect ratio. So, hopefully there will be no changes :)
