I finally got a chance to catch up on my last batch of Italian titles and though I already recommended this film to a few members I also wanted to comment on the exceptionally well made DVD (English subs for the main feature) and probably the best picture quality since Non Ti Muovere.

The film follows the story of a small boy from Italy who nearly dies during a trip to Greece (will spare the details) but gets picked up by a group of illegal immigrants on their way to Italy. What follows up is a story reminiscent of Lilja 4Ever set amidst the slums and deportation immigrant camps of Italy.

Just a great film from Marco Giordana (La Meglio Gioventu) which was part of the 2005 Cannes film festival! La Meglio Gioventu is set to be released in the US next month.
