Philips 727--Does it output 720p?
 

I was looking to get some cables that allow my player to output 720p, but I was just wondering if my main player, my Philips 727 supports this, or if 480p is the highest it'll go at.

It doesn't. 720p is "high definition". Progressive scan DVD players output 480p. I'm not sure what the upconverting players do or how they do it but the Phillips 727 doesn't upconverts anyway.
