Tampopo - Which edition ?

I want to replace my old tape and I don't know which edition has the best
quality.

There is now an Australian PAL anamorphic DVD version of this film: http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/811868

The current best video/audio quality version is the German Blu-ray which has English subtitles, eventhough it's not advertised on back cover.

I have the Geneon DVD. The pic is kind of soft but it has good subs.
