More of a general CD-WOW question: has anyone else noticed that they tend to pull things after a brief time and with no warning? Miike's "Yokai War" is now gone ... "The Descent" also disappeared. They're not out of print or anything -- other stores have them (just for more money). I've only done 1 previous order with them, but is this common? When you see something you want there, do you really need to jump on it right away or its gone for good?

I see that happen with some frequency. A new title, or hot title or recently discounted title....anything that seems to generate interest, the title will get pulled (I assume because they ran out of stock). I would assume the reason for "The Descent" is because of a recent price drop. I've also noticed that with new hot releases, they seem to run out of stock by the release date (I guess they only stock what has been preordered or near that number) and it ends up getting restocked and shipped about a week of the release date.
Ron
PS: I kind of treat cdwow like costco, if I see and want it, I don't wait to order it.

I wish they'd get the rest of the Russ Meyer flicks. I emailed a few times and they never responded.

They're still quick-faster than the free shipping from DDD which is 500 miles away. I received four of the above seven days after ordering. Still no Fistful of Dynamite.

but they dont keep things in stock forever, which is a shame. prices sometimes are very inconsistent too, which is a pro and con at the same time...

I got in for Punishment Park, have been wanting that for awhile. Still undecided on Francesco since money isn't in abundance at the moment. Still good to get Punishment Park for that price though.

Check the price, then come back to this thread and use the link and see if it changes...
Looks like $27.95 before the discount.
