Australian Mr and Mrs.Smith will have DTS...

Latest press release for R4:

In today from the folks at 20th Century Fox was the press release for Mr and Mrs.Smith, the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie action comedy which proved to be a box-office hit during its theatrical run. Arriving just after the new year, the film will be accompanied by a DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, an audio commentary with director Doug Liman and screenwriter Simon Kinberg, another commentary with producers Lucas Foster and Akiva Goldsman, deleted scenes, a making of featurette and theatrical trailers. We'll bring you more details as they come to hand. Look out for the disc from January 4, 2006.

It seems this and the R3 version (released on 1st dec.) are the only ones with DTS, I find it very odd that R1 and R2 haven't. Especially when most major 20th fox releases have it. very worrying. Then again, nearer the time they could make another announcment.

Fox is probably planning a double dip with DTS and more supplements a few months after the initial release. That seems to be their pattern lately.
