It includes Industrial Symphony #1? Well now, that is very intriguing.

A little off topic, but does anyone know of a way to search or find listings for released or soon to be released HiDef mastered discs? Since I've heard about Lost Highway I've gone searching for other releases (mostly international) and haven't found much outside of some HK discs for some HK films. There is one HK film I might look to purchase, but the rest aren't really films I'd like to own. I know it's still a bit early, but I was wondering how to search for these releases?

Almost every major studio release is mastered in high-definition these days. Note that "mastered in high-definition" does not mean that the disc will be HD. The disc will be the exact same resolution as every other DVD, but the master it was sourced from was prepped at a higher resolution so that it will be ready for the next generation video formats.

I was wondering. Where are most of you ordering this from. I tried a few searches and found it cheapest for about 30 Euro at Amazon.fr after shipping. Is there anywhere that you guys have found this cheaper? I fail to see why basic shipping from France is 10-12 Euro when I can order a DVD from the UK and pay 1-3 Euro for shipping.

Maybe i'm reading it wrong, but i see no mention of the interview with Badalamenti or Industrial Symphony, as seen in the specs in Pro-B's post...

Industrial Symphony was dropped. They couldn't get the rights.

Kant:

It appears to be the most reasonable one for US customers. As I believe that you are not US-based there might be a few other options. I would suggest also that you wait a few weeks and see whether or not this disc might appear at CD-WOW.

For those not wanting to pay the extra (and prefer an English language case) VCI has confirmed a port of the MK2 2 disc set for the UK 6 February.

Catalogue number: CCD30157

I was told they had actually added material (or more correctly MK2 removed material) to their version. We'll see.

I got it in the mail already. I am blown away by how incredible Lost Highway looks on this dvd, everything is near picture perfect. Also, the sound is the best available ever, or on any previous version of the film, this is the best sounding to date.

It would be hard for any forthcoming region 1 release to top the standards exhibited with this fine release by MK2.

Got mine a few days ago, too, and as dvd_luver said, it looks amazing; I thought I was satisfied with my R4 Aussie copy, but this utterly destroys it in every aspect. Fantastic packaging, as well. A great way to hold me over while waiting for the Eraserhead/Short Films box from Lynch's website.
