Which of these two releases of Trapeze (1956) is better?

A shot in the dark. Does anyone own and care to comment on these two versions of the film? It is one of my childhood favorites and not available on R1 and I've decided I'm finished waiting for MGM to release it. With the Sony acquisition, a domestic release is probably even more remote.
