Any reviews for the new Japanese TAMPOPO DVD?

Looks like it's available in regular:

and "limited edition" versions:

Any clue what the LE offers over the other one? And, any reviews about picture/sounds/subtitle quality?

Ive been wanting to see this for a long time as Ive heard alot about it...$65.00 seems awfully steep for a blind buy though. Decisions Decisions.

Ever do anything really, really stupid? Well, I have...

I saw that the "limited" set had an extra DVD with the making of, so I bought that. Of course, I never once thought to check if the documentary had English subtitles. I've been region-free for over 5 years; I'm not exactly a newbie at buying foreign DVDs. I guess I wasn't thinking clearly that day.

Anyway, I now have paid an extra $15 for a set that includes extras that I don't understand. At least the movie itself is subtitled and has decent picture quality...

Um, yeah. I just accidently bought a P&S LD of Sid and Nancy on Ebay and got duped by Sid & Nancy not Criterion. Felt like a complete moron.
