Another Ong bak thread

I did a search but couldn't find any of the old ones. Anyways, I found this R2 version and was wondering if anyone has it and if it is worth purchasing now since it is available. It does have English subs according to the site. Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A bit strange looking that site you linked to. It seems like it's the French disc. Unlikely there will be English subs and even if there were would all the extras have them? Unlikely.

I settled with the CDWow Australian Region 0 PAL release. Guaranteed English friendly extras in a 2 disc set:

I already pre-ordered the R4 version awhile back. I was just curious to see if anyone had this version. BTW, the HKL/Premiere Asia version is supposed to be released September 19th according to dvdtimes.

I also ordered the R4 from CDwow. Its probably cheaper than the R1 will be and boasts two cuts of the film, and numerous extras.

As the UK, R1 & R4 are all from different companies, the issue of transfer quality will be interesting. But we'll have to wait until people start getting hold of these discs...
