looks like a solid DVD release. very happy to see Pollack wanting to educate the masses with that last bonus feature as well.

Bit wasted on UK (and European) audiences though as the vast majority prefer widescreen anyway. It's not really an issue here and the studios know it, which is why we hardly ever get pan & scan versions :)

yeah, i don't really remember seeing many Pan & Scan versions here in Europe.. this bonus feature is even funnier considering i just read that in R1, the film will be available in both Widescreen and Pan & Scan editions.

it'll certainly be weird if that Widescreen vs. Pan & Scan bonus is on the P&S edition.. but then again, that's probably the disc where it truly belongs since those watching that one is in most dire need of education.

I believe the U.S. street date is Oct 4th, so this is certainly a pleasant surprise.
