Doesn't seem to say... Are they all anamorphic?

Thanks. That isn't a bad price either. About $11 each.

This is a great set. Just to confirm it does have the extended cut and all 3 are anamorphic.

My .02 cents.

I seem to recall reading that the Korean disc of Scream did not look all that great. I don't own the R3 set, but recall doing some research a few months back and saw this: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...ghlight=scream

Is the box set from a different transfer??

I have the Korean single disc (not the boxed set... since I dislike the 2 sequels).

I can't comment on if it's a different transfer, but I can say that the single disc version is decent -- it certainly doesn't 'suck'. At the very least, it's an improvement upon the R1 edition.

As to whether the box set version is 'better'... I don't know.

I believe the boxed set is a new transfer.

Yes more gore and a different, more graphic sound mix.

Spoilers below

Steve's guts are shown pouring out of him as Casey looks on. In the released version, the very last few moments of this are shown.

Casey hanging from the tree was time compressed in the film release (it is at normal speed here).

When Tatum meets her death by garage door, her head is shown, very briefly being flattened.

After Kenny the cameraman's throat is cut, he stares at the blood on his hand after touching his neck, and then looks up at the killer.

Billy clearly loses control as he delivers his final cuts to Stuart.

After Billy and Stuart have finished stabbing each other, there is a shot of Stu's hand dripping blood into a puddle, with Sydney's father looking on.

I could be mistaken, happens all the time, but I don't think in any of the 3 non-anamorphic releases Beuna Vista has done of Scream was the unrated, or extended version of the film put out there.

No -- there is also an R3 single release of the extended cut.

I doubt the boxset transfer looks any different. The single disc release is anamorphic, but has some aliasing issues. It's a great alternative to the cut non-anamorphic R1 disc. I've never seen any evidence that the boxset disc is any different.

I feel like I'm repeating myself here...

The single disc release is not crappy... it's fine, and much better than the R1.

Is the boxed set better? I don't know... I've never seen any evidence one way or the other.
