The Turkish now living in Italy director Ferzan Ozpetek is yet again the center of attention at the coveted David di Donatello Awards in Italy. His latest film Cuore Sacro together with Giovanni Veronese's Manuale d'Amore a.k.a The Handbook of Love are among the primary contenders for the Best Picture Award. Ozpetek's previous film La Finestra di Fronte (Facing Windows) swept the ceremony in 2003 with 11 Awards. Ciao, Pro-B http://www.dvd.it/page/dett/arti/266...ore_sacro.html Is it english-friendly? Thanks... |
I received this disc very, very late! The film is outstanding (once again with excellent soundtrack) and Barbora is quite frankly stunning (the last scene is perfect).
As far as audio/video specs go:....There are optional English subtitles for the main feature. The picture quality is slightly less impressive than Non ti Muovere but it is nevertheless of the highest possible quality. There is no edge enhacement and color gradation is perfect. Highly recommended! Ciao, Pro-B |

Certainly pick Respiro from DDD then!
If placing a larger order I would also recommend Quando Sei Nato... from the director of The Best of Youth Marco Giordana. The Italian disc is English friendly and of excellent quality. Prima dammi un bacio, like Quando Sei Nato another Cannes favorite of mine was also beautiful.... Ok, Ciao, Pro-B |
