Le Samourai versions?
 

I've been hearing good things about this movie -- Gline reviewed the French disc a while back. However, I've heard pretty lousy things about shipping prices from amazon.fr.

Does anyone have the Russian disc? Any thoughts/opinions on quality? I'm leaning towards this one since it would coincide nicely with ordering Night Watch.

Hey Tuan Jim, where will you order Night Watch? In AllDVD.ca? If that is the place, how are they? You know, the usual, shipping times, packaging, if its secure to order from them... Thanks in advance

That's where I'll probably order it -- but it'll be my first time. I just found it when someone mentioned the Immortel russian disc. At the very least it's a Canadian site in English. I don't have any other details. Other folks here have ordered from them and seem to have had good experiences though.

I would also suggest Xploited Cinema. They may not always have the lowest prices, but they are trustworthy and ship quickly (and are US-based).

I can't really compare the two but I have the Russian disc and i'm very happy with it. I ordered it through Xpoited and they have great service.

Thanks for the update. I went ahead and ordered both Le Samourai and Night Watch for $43 including shipping from alldvd.ca. We'll see how things go -- no errors when I ordered.

I used IE. Are you getting the error trying to put it in your cart or trying to check out or what? Maybe you should email the guy.

Well, Alldvd.ca gained a lot of respect from me today. I got home from work and the guy Email'ed me to ask me what was happening so they could fix the problem. That's right, he Email'ed me first to ask, I would never expect this from other places such as Amazon.

Just got my order today. Package came through in great shape (much faster than I was expecting -- but I am pretty close to the Canadian border ;p). Just watched Nochnoy Dozor and I'll check out Le Samourai later this weekend.

I'd definitely recommend alldvd.ca -- great experiences.
