Yasujiro Ozu movies - CC or region 0 Collections?
I was about to buy the four OZU movies that Criterion has released, but then I came across these region 0 DVD collections. The Ozu Collection 1 The Ozu Collection 2
I have yet to find any reviews of these collections, but I guess they are inferior to the CC releases. Does anyone have any information, or maybe links to reviews of these collections?

For the most accurate and complete Ozu information, refer to http://www.ozuyasujiro.com, one of the great film sites on the internet. DVD Beaver has extensive DVD comparisons, including several of Ozu. For example, the Late Spring comparison.
As a rule of thumb, based generally on what I know of the companies involved, the Tartans are far superior to the Panorama discs, but slightly inferior to the Criterions. I don't own any of the Tartan Ozu releases, but I have several of the Panoramas and all of the Criterions.
ETA: I didn't even notice your username at first, but I had to comment once I did. Very cool.

The Tartan discs are NTSC to PAL transfers,
and a bit darker than the Criterion discs.
Also, no extras are there.
go for the criterions. you'll get your moneys worth.

Thanks for the help guys!
I've now ordered the the four CC releases. Not cheap, but I can't watch these movies. I've only watched Good Morning, and I liked it a lot, so I'm expecting great things from Ozu.

Not many get the reference, so thanks for noticing. I like yours too.
