I missed out on this one and am looking to pick it up. Is there a DTS anamorphic w/ subs to be had? Thanks!

I havent watched mine, but it does say:

Region 3, DTS, English Subtitles, and 16:9 on it.

The HK disc has a mediocre transfer, but it's acceptable... and the subtitles are fine if memory serves. Thankfully it can be had for cheap.

Just note that the HK disc is indeed hard-coded for Region 3, not all-region.

The packaging on the R3 says DTS-ES 6.1, but can actually only be matrixed. There should have been a recent R1 release of this. Wonder how that one fares.

ADV Films licensed the movie. It would make sense for them to release it around the time the Hollywood remake comes out. It hasn't been released theatrically or on DVD in R1 yet.

I have the R3 edition, and while it's not reference or anything, it's quite decent.

nice grab for ADV... they should stand to pocket a little coin off that one.

I could've sworn I just saw that this had a R1 release date from ADV this week or last. Now I can't find it anywhere.
