i have this set, and i can tell you for a start, it is not gold as depicted here but silver.

they say picture quality is average. for me it wasnt top notch but it was certainly alright, nothing like a pirated version. i felt the quality of the picture added to the movie in a way, because it was a period peice it felt more authentic.

the movie is spread over 2 discs, but the one problem i found in the movie was in the first scene of the second disc. the subtitles are out, they belong to the next scene. the following scene they are fixed up though and you dont really lose anything. i think all in all 2 sentences were said.

the free cards you recieve are just like drink coasters at the local pub.

oh and one more thing, they said it is limited to 2000 world wide. i got mine nearly 2 years ago off memory so i am amazed it is still here now. either that or they lied about it being LE. although it says so on the cover

The Japan version was better in video quality I think and there is none left. And you get a lot more goodies also with it.

for what its worth...the R1 extended cut is perhaps the best version offering English subs.
