hmm i am actually reconsidering since it will be so much with the conversion rate.....
admittedly i would usually spend more to get a better picture, but i'm not sure about $30 more... i like the movie alot but with the superior picture on the dvd set of the original version i have to weigh the cost benefit, even if i really dig the remake (which i really do, just not as much as the original).

Yeah, you're looking at almost $40 shipped from amazon.jp. Good chunk of change to upgrade, especially if you got the R1 for $15 on release day. If you didn't have the R1 already, I would say this is a great buy if you have DTS capabilities, but other than that it's a tough call for the price.

Ohhh watched it, adored it! and noticed the picture was still dark, esspecially in one place, I guess I will have to try it on my PC and screen cap the part as the rest of the film seems ok, but one scene in particular looks wayyy to dark

and nice it is too, if you like that sort of thing its not exactly erotic, but I guess nothing in the film is, the 2 sex scenes are pretty much not there to turn people on, but its nit a sexy film in that way, its just a sexy film with Zombies.

Classic, mmmm No, but great fun and very entertaining, probibly the best Zombie Comedy ever as thats something hard to get right as most the other poor comedy Zombie films show.
Also watch the trailer for Dawn of the Dead again once you watch the film, there quite a few shots in the trailer that are not in the film
and did the Dawn commentary, ohh boy it wasnt good, the pair of muppets they picked to do the commentary just spent the entire running time praising everyone
it god bad real quickly! they call everyone ROCKSTARS! and thats soo COOL! tjhem words were uttered maybe 100 times in the commentary!
still I gained a little goodness from it, but not as much as if it were a cast commentary with Ving!
