...saw the first (1999) one in Switzerland, where - to the best of my recollection* - it was shown at approx. AR 1.85:1...
* (fell asleep about twenty minutes into the movie, since I couldn't make heads nor tails of it - although the two seven-year-olds that I accompanied/babysat thought the movie was "obergeil")
