This is the edition I pre-ordered. The Limited
Edition set is definitely cool, but not practical to me. The book I've wanted for a while, but wasn't willing to pay various importers and auctions (I spend enough on art books anyways...)

I did a search on Viewmage in this and the Hardware forum and got no hits. Does anyone have any idea what kind of player this is? I currently have a Daewoo that will play PAL, but only non-anamporphic, and if I get another player, that is the only updgrade I am looking for (it's my secondary player, not used as much).

Also, I just ordered the 2046 soundtrack from YesAsia, and they have a checkout survey that earns you a $5 off $30 coupon. Not sure if that's an old deal, but thought I'd mention it.

If I were you I would get a Toshiba SD-4900, it plays ana PAL/NTSC, and pretty much everything. You can snag it for $60-70 usually. Also the Philips 624 (I might be totally not recalling the number right) plays xvid and divx as well as multi-region DVDs. Check this thread for info, it has all the latest.
