Luchino Visconti's L'Innocente in September
Via DVDTIMES
"Nouveaux Pictures have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of L'Innocente for 27th September 2004 priced at £17.99. Credited with influencing Martin Scorsese's Oscar winning film, "The Age Of Innocence", Luchino Visconti's last film (released in 1976, the year of his death) is a lavishly presented account of male chauvinism and sexual double standards set in 19th century Italy.
Digitally remastered from a restored print, L'Innocente boasts a widescreen presentation (2.35:1) and picture gallery. "
