Band of Brothers LE (Korean) owners

I'm curious a) how many units of this were created, and b) what # is listed on your proof of purchase provided in the set.

#3274 here.

I'm referring to the "military kit".

Thanks!

where's the number at - I'll look and tell you tomorrow.

juicerocket 08-20-04 07:01 AM

Hey Trigger,

When you unfold the kit, it's on a slip of paper tucked into the left pocket. The paper has an image of the crossroads sign, with Winters I beleive standing. The number is printed near the bottom of the paper. :)

Trigger 08-20-04 01:06 PM

ok - mine is #1350

Manco 08-21-04 03:17 PM

#4663.

Nothing earth-shattering, 2574.

Limited to 6000, by the way.

juicerocket 08-23-04 12:02 AM

Thanks everyone, and thanks Pat for the LE total #. Guessing that they haven't been sold in numerical order, I wonder how many of these sets are left.

I'm surprised there are any... great series and all the sets from various countries have pretty much the same content, but this is pretty awesome packaging - plus, the price is right.

Dvd_Boy 08-25-04 03:22 PM

I want a set.
Anyone know where I can get one for a reasonable price without breaking the bank? Also, a reliable seller will be nice too

Thanks

you can get it at koreandvds.com for $80 w/o shipping but they have a promotion on the shipping as well:

Is the booklet it comes with in English by chance? Also, the site claims this:

""Titles produced in Korea are subject to government
censorship when it involves nudity and violence.
Although the censorship has been lessened over the
years, frontal nudity and extreme violence(although
rare) are forbidden. Please be careful especially when
purchasing erotic movies. When you are worried about
censored and deleted scenes of graphic violence and
frontal nudity, do not buy from our site."

has anything been censored out of it?

Thanks much :)

I also noticed on there that the booklet is in Korean, but I'll still be picking it up.

juicerocket 09-09-04 04:31 PM

No cuts, and the booklet is entirely in Korean. Still, the booklet is great to look through, it houses a slew of incredible photographs.

superstringtheory,

Best price I found is through yesasia.com. $94.99 - $10 coupon =$84.99 shipped!.

superstringtheory 09-09-04 04:50 PM

Oh no, I already ordered from Koreandvd.com :( As far as shipping goes and reliability which place has the better record - KoreanDVD or YesAsian.com? It would be my first time ordering from either. I've only used HKFlix.com so far.

fourizonly 09-09-04 04:59 PM

Yesasia.com ships from San Bruno, CA. Since I live in CA, I always receive the package in 2~3 days.
