Blasted Chinese DVDs
Ok so I recently just got back from China and I made quit a collection of DVDs. One of which is called Azumi. I had watched when I was in China in Japanese audio and English subtitles. However, when I got home and tried to play it on my DVD player then it played alright it just wouldn't show the english subtitles. I even played it on my computer and it showed them. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the subtitle button on your DVD player?
Otherwise, I've never heard of a China/HK release of Azumi - perhaps the disc in question is a bootleg? |

OK I'll agree to the fact that it's probably a bootleg... but that doesn't explain why the subtitles work on my computer and not on the dvd player.

That's what you get for buying a bootleg!
