Bullet In The Head / Killer Fortune Star How are they?
How's the quality on these 2 movies compared to other releases out there?
Many copies of "Killer" i have seen were pretty beat up,
and want to know if this one stacks up in sound and picture.

I've only watched the Killer so far. It has a anamorphic transfer with passable video quality. The DTS and 5.1 sound remixes are terrible. The original audio Stereo track is ok but some hiss and the occasional pops are audible. Overall, I was dissapointed with it but don't know how it stacks up with other versions.

For a picture comparison between the three "top" "THE KILLER" versions out there go to www.speedingbullets.tk. I think that the HKL version perhaps gets out on top this time, though the HKVideo looks great aswell. The IVL Killer is interlaced encoded.
As for BITH, HKL is darker, less saturated than the IVL version from HK - but has better subtitles and probably a cleaner audio track. Both are progressive.

I watched Bullet in the Head tonight. The audio and video were both pretty good. I tried all the audio tracks and thought they were all fine. The picture and sound quality of this film is miles better than that of the Killer from the same set. This was my first viewing of the film and I was totally blown away. Totally hardcore great movie. I was very dissapointed with the presentation of the Killer but I see no problems with this film.

Which version of The Killer is included? Isn't the HKL disc an extended cut?
