Polanski's TESS (new print)- August 4
A new print (different from the hard-to-track Swiss print) of Polanskis's Tess will be available on August 4 in France (this should be an obvious improvement over the Asian print).
DVD Special Features:
-A commentary by the director Polanski (assuming in French only..but to be confirmed)
-Making of- 41min.
-Trailer
-Gallery with stills from Tess
-no forced French subs announced.
A stylish cover with the beautiful N.Kinski

I've noticed less forced subtitles lately from France (although it's never been wide spread).
The distributor of that DVD (Pathe) haven't had forced subtitles before AFAIK.
Not seen Tess for many years. I might check that disc out.
