WS R2 Buffy Season 7 is just under $50 (shipped) at CD-WOW

It is 29.99 GBP but when I went through the DVDTalk link it was coming up at 28.49 GBP.

When you check out make sure you choose to pay in US$ as the exchange rate seemed to be better than what I was getting from Yahoo.

Here is the DVD Talk link.

Enjoy

-Brett

EDIT: It appears to be coming up at 29.49 GBP now.

Is their site partially down for anyone else? I get a half loaded site with all links leading to the main page.

The www3 link is indeed not working properly as I write this.

If you enter www2.cd-wow.com or www4.cd-wow.com into your browswer you can get through. It looks like they've raised the price to 39.99 GBP. Still cheaper than Amazon, but not quite the same bargain.

Crap, it must have been a yesterday-only anamoly where the price went up and then came back down again. Of course, I was stupid enough to place my order when it was 39.99, thinking it was only going to continue to inch back up.

This is my first order with CD-WOW. How's their customer service? If I email to complain, will they refund me the difference?

I'm still getting the page that shows its 29.99. You can always email them, theres a good chance you'll be able to get the difference back, but don't quote me on that.

I've used CD-Wow many times, and they've been quick and efficient on all occasions. They're my #1 etailer, with their cheap prices and free shipping on international orders.

I emailed them, and indeed they responded fairly quickly that they would refund my credit card the price difference.

Assuming everything arrives in good order, I'm pleased with their service so far.

Amazon UK has also dropped their price, to 29.97 GBP. They charge shipping (which is free at CD-Wow), but they deduct VAT which I don't believe CD-Wow did. So in the end it should end up fairly similar.

Anyone have any idea why this season of Buffy is getting a price drop? I'll be kind of annoyed if Angel Season 4 does the same thing, since I already bought that one at full price.

Josh, I have heard rumors on several UK sites that the R2 releases of Buffy (and possibly Angel) are all going to be re-released soon at sub 30 GBP each in cheaper amaray-style cases, instead of the book-style that they come in now. I guess the book cases are expensive to produce.

I like the book packaging. I guess I don't regret buying all of them this far.
