DVD Talk Forum - Devils on the doorstep?

"Devils on the doorstep" was the second feature film directed by actor/director Wen-Jiang and it was released by it's U.S distributer Cowboy Pictures back in december 02, primarily in NY/LA. I am sure that most of you have probably never heard of this film and that included myself, until recently and now i want to see this film with english subs. Upon further research i found out that it was considered very high profile when it was making festival rounds in 00', winning the prestigious GrandPrix de July at Cannes the same year.

Well, its distributer which i mentiond, Cowboy pictures has gone out of business and i have no idea who holds it's library now but i am not holding my breath for an R1 release any time soon. The film was released in France under it's french title "Les Démons à ma porte" but naturally only included french subs, here is the pic:

So i need some help from my fellow forum member, espically the asian members with their vast knowledge to tell me about the availability of any version of this film which has english subs.
