To whom it may concern DVDTalk

As one of managers at DVDarirang.com, this is to clarify the issue on our site.

We're terribly afraid to say here that We do hope that all this slandering with no ground whatsoever would stop.

We'd like this to be considered more seriously for you're one of running men in this site.

Last month when the overcharging happened to some of our members, to be exact, it was the credit card agent company's failed system that caused the trouble by the malfunctional computer process.

This was of course all understood and cleared by and all refunded in the end.

Which was confirmed by our members as follows*.

I may not have read through the whole agreement on Rules when I signed in.

Unauthorized advertisings shouldn't be posted in any way by any parts or anyone.

It'd be very much appreciated if you'd correct this slandering.

Chris Neilson

Please include Showgirls (2 disc) in my order at no additional charge, per your 'giveaway' email. If this order works out without an overcharge I'll order from you again in the future.

Tim Holm

Please also send me the free 'Little Monk' DVD, as promised in your email to me regarding the credit card problems we had. Thank you very much for working the trouble out! I appreciate your efforts

David Swearingen

Hi. Please send *totally free* copy of "On the Occasion of Remembering the Turning Gate" with this order. Thank you!

So I'm guessing your website had a problem and people got overcharged on their orders, and some of those people posted about their bad experience on DVDTalk then? That's not slander, pal, that's word of mouth.

So "overcharging" happened, but you consider it "slander" if someone posts a complaint about that?

I'll accept the fact that it could have been an honest error that was corrected .... but your site would need some major attitude correction by management before I would ever consider shopping there.

P.S. This isn't slander -it's an opinion.

For the record, well over a month ago I emailed these guys to sort out any misunderstanding with Geoff:

[....] if you wish to talk on other topics without mentioning your site, please feel free to be an active member.

However, please note that any more informal advertising would result in the sign-up rules I have mentioned being operated in full against you: http://www.dvdtalk.com/legal.html

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
But time and again they came back with their self-promotion. There is no misunderstanding: each time they've signed-up again they've been banned.

Members can make of all this what they want to but I am more than a little perturbed at seeing those customer "recommendations" quoted above....

....but, hey, maybe they are 100% accurate and the originators gave their permission to be quoted here.
