Anyone have the JVC XV-N44SL?
If so I would like to know how it is as a second player, I want for region free and Pal. Can anyone let me know if this is a good player. Or can name some others in the price range to check out?
I am so new to this region free, Pal to NTSC stuff and really confused...and cannot follow all the threads..
i just want a good, cheap 2nd player to play my soon to come R2 Kill Bill..that's all and then maybe get some other region DVD's from there..but slowly..ughh it's all confusing..
any help would be so appreciated..

Scott,
I have the JVC55SL and it is pretty awesome! Doesn't perform that great via s-video, but via component hook-ups, plays flawlessly.
The one thing, and it is something that I didn't think would be a big deal to me but it is....is that the dvd player ejects the movie so quickly. No delay what-so-ever. Sounds silly but I noticed it.
Overall, I would say I like the player very much and would suggest that to anyone else.
But of course...others here like the cheaper players and that is fine too. They'll recommend a Toshiba or Philips most likely.
