I know that Ozu's

'Late Autumn' is available from Hong Kong

and Criterion has and will be releasing more films of his on DVD
- Tokyo Story
- A Story of Floating Weeds/Floating Weeds

are there other films available elsewhere?

There's lots of Ozu out there. DVDAF lists 63 titles available on DVD, but there's undoubtedly much more. Just note that most of the Japanese R2 titles don't have subs.

There is a brief summary (and recommendations) of the available Ozu DVDs from around the world from Nick Wrigley at the Criterion Collection Forum:
PANORAMA
Late Autumn - subs are followable / transfer is ok
Late Spring - subs are followable / transfer is ok
Early Spring - subs are followable / transfer is VCD-like
Early Summer - subs are followable / transfer is okish...
The Flavour of Green Tea over Rice - subs are followable / transfer is problematic
Good Morning - subs are followable / transfer is ok
An Autumn Afternoon - subs are abysmal / transfer is slightly problematic

Apparently, PANORAMA are redoing the subs on AN AUTUMN AFTERNOON. How you'd know a second edition from a first - I don't know.

re: other Ozu DVDs around the world.

It's getting really complicated to work out which ones to recommend...
depends how fussy you are....

1.) PANORAMA R3 HK
if you don't care about the subs being that accurate and you just want to nail a bunch of Ozu films (which frankly were extremely rare up until now) then you might be best getting the Panorama R3 discs.... but you'll be missing A LOT of subtle script nuances, and personally I wouldn't recommend it.

2.) JAPANESE RELEASES
NONE of the Japanese Ozu discs have English subs (Shochiku, Toho or Daiei) - so it's probably best to avoid.

3.) UK RELEASES

[See DVDBeaver.com for reviews of these two.]

Artificial Eye's FLOATING WEEDS is (mysteriously) slightly squashed, and seeing as Criterion have this down for April (with commentary, and THE STORY OF FLOATING WEEDS), it's best to wait for Criterion.

Artificial Eye's END OF SUMMER is better, the subs are super good, but the colour balance on this one is more like CC GOOD MORNING, and the Japanese Toho release of END OF SUMMER's colour balance is much greener.

Tartan (UK) have a TOKYO STORY, LATE SUMMER, FLAVOUR OF GREEN TEA OVER RICE boxset due in the Summer. It got delayed while they look for more extras.

4.) FRENCH RELEASES
The French ARTE boxset (6 films, his last 5 colour films + I WAS BORN, BUT) doesn't have English subs, and it's out in April.

5.) USA RELEASES
Criterion GOOD MORNING is an old disc, it has colour problems, but they're not fatal, and probably the best option for Westerners (at the moment).

Criterion TOKYO STORY is probably the most essential disc available. Hopefully their FLOATING WEEDS/STORY OF FLOATING WEEDS set in April will be too.
