Does anyone have an idea about the best version of Twin Peaks season 2 and where to buy it the cheapest?

Right now, the only release out there is the Spanish complete-series box set, which is atrocious quality (mastered from EP-speed VHS tapes).
Rumors are that Paramount will be releasing better quality Season 2 box sets this fall, but nothing has been officially announced.

Twin Peaks Season 2 has been confirmed for release in Australia (region 4 PAL) in two parts with volume one available on the 9th September and volume two on the 7th October.
No idea of the specs at this stage.
