yes, the info was reported through dvdrama as well awhile ago.

Good thing to note is that since the disc is coming from MK2 chances are 99.9% that the subs wont be "forced" (given their past practice).

Here's the cover work-

Pro-B,

did you see "ELEPHANT" yet? Since it won't be released in Germany for another month I would be interested to hear an "official" opinion.

Let me know, thanks,

Seb

Seb,

I have not seen it yet...and to be honest with you I am not in a rush to see it either. After Van Sant's Gerry....let's just say that one has to be very careful with his works. I am looking forward to it though (when it comes on DVD).

Cneers,
Pro-B

I caught ELEPHANT in theatres and loved it. As you know the movie is loosely based on the Columbine tragedy. Van Sant follows the lives of several high school students throughout the day at school. Their teenage angst and follies are shot in real time, which may be relentless for some viewers, but proves to be effective to illicit emotion. When the adolescent gunmen strategically pick off the students one by one, we literally feel the victims' terror. I've seen many violent movies in my time, and as a result, become desensitized to brutal violence, but ELEPHANT really hit a nerve. Hearing these kids talk about dating and their college picks was endearing -- I truly identified with them. But when the barrel of a fully automatic weapon decides their fate, it's then we realize that life is precious -- and unfortunately short.

Iím definitely adding ELEPHANT to my DVD library.
