All for the Winner and God of Gamblers

I was in a local chinese mall and saw these two DVD's.

Looks like a new release but can't be sure as i've never looked for them before.

Anyone have a review?

Both are newer re-releases. The God of Gamblers re-release is really nice.

The All For the Winner re-release came out 10 days ago. There have been comments that certain scenes have been cut. This is the main thread from the AsianDVDGuide review forum on this DVD:

i don't have a review of this re-releases, but All for the winner is cut according to this

The newer release has a DTS logo on the cover.. My local store has all the older ones still displayed :(

All For the Winner does appear to be cut but God of Gambler is not.. Both have great new anamorphic transfers however.

Thanks for the info...I saw GOG and was hesitant to buy the old version. Good to hear the new one has a new transfer. I will pick it up for sure!
