Just to clarify, we do not charge your card but do an authorization hold like a hotel or car rental company would do. It 'reserves' credit on the card. That expires after so many days If the charge isn't submitted.

I understand that, but even though it's not a charge and is instead a hold, the money is removed from the account, and set aside, thus keeping people from being able to use the funds.
I do thank you guys for helping me out so much to help me deal with this, it's very much appriciated.

Just to follow up on mrwilson's remark, it is a very common business practice like he said and the charge is not submitted. I am not sure about Netflix but Walmart's rental service does the same thing, for them in case if you post a dvd as lost, even during the free trial. The internet company i work for follows a similar idea also.

DVD Talk Special Edition
I just signed up, the selection seems pretty good as i mostly look for american movies with better editions (superbits, ultimate editions) from other countries.
A great way to check out overseas movies without having to spend a ton of money, thanks!!

I signed up too...
Living in CA I do long for an "I've sent it back" option, as it appears turnaround is around 12 days. If it is, I don't think I'll stay longer than the trial period.
