How are the Tartan releases of these Miike films?

R2 Tartan Asia Extreme

Blues Harp
Full Metal Gokudo
Shinjuku Triad Society
Ley Lines
Rainy Dog

Probably not too good huh...

Any other alternatives? I need my Miike fix!

Blues Harp and Full Metal are also available from Germany. Both Non-anamorphic I believe. Don't expect much from the Tartan discs as the R2 Japanese originals aren't too hot either. The Ley Lines/China Mafia/Rainy Dog are fairly grainy transfers on cheap film stock.

Oops sorry, Blues Harp is from AFN not Tartan.

Furious, yeah I didn't expect them to be that good. Thanks for the info.
