It's a making of documentary.
CHESS på Cirkus DVD features an 80 minute bonus disc documentary by Mona Nörklit (film-maker and wife of Benny Andersson) entitled "Musikalen som kom hem" (The musical which came home". sure it's a dated musical, but the music is great. I am still deciding on this dvd. I missed the US Broadway production as well as a reworked one-date production edition that played in London a couple years back. I am sure it's going to be odd to hear this musical in Swedish, since the original English language version is dynamic in it's wording and lyrcism. hmm...
oh and wow that there is a multi-channel SACD recording of the Swedish Cast recording of "Chess" |
