Killing Zoe: Director's Cut (R2 France) in the works...

Roger Avary made a couple of mentions on his website this week. There's no indication of when it'll be released, but it's something I know I'll be keeping an eye out for! No forced subs, hopefully.

The French "Killing Zoe" Director's Cut DVD is going to be awesome! The shootartİonceptor, Nicola Dulion (who also designed the current U.S. DVD of "Killing Zoe" with Andy Blinn), has done an outstanding job creating box art which is utterly beautiful and worthy of being called art. This two disc set is going to be one I'll be proud to own! Also, rumor has it that Lions Gate is buying Artisan Entertainment. This could only bode well for a potential U.S. release of the "Killing Zoe" director's cut (hope, hope).

I've just heard that an 80 minute documentary on the making of "Killing Zoe" will be included on the French "Killing Zoe" director's cut DVD. I handed over hours and hours of never before seen behind-the-scenes footage shot by me, my wife, Tom Savini, and others to French journalist/critic David Martinez, who is currently hidden away in a Paris editing room putting it all together. Very exciting news indeed.

As long as it looks better than the horrendous r1.

I think it's funny to see the fella from Spandau Ballet as one of the gangsters. The guy was the lead in The Krays, and now he's playing evil henchman with two lines? Crazy! Ron Jeremy gets a better role!
