I think there is a problem with in the mood for love limited tinbox edition. there are two different dvds(limited tinbox=$10, special 2disc ed=$22).
According to pictures special edition is in tinbox but not the other one. I couldn't decide which one is in tin box actually. Anybody who purchase that item from koreandvds.com?

The $10 tinbox of In the Mood For Love in the Wang Kar-Wai+Leslie Chung sale is a tinbox, but very small; It's just large enough to hold two loose discs with foam under and between them, and a small booklet.
I haven't compared it to my Criterion and French SE, as I got it in the Wang Kar-Wai+Leslie Chung pack from koreandvds, and this wasn't the movie I bought the pack for.

Since we are talking about different versions I did get the new remastered version from Nicheflix to compare the image to the Criterion version.
This one- http://www.nicheflix.com/movie_detai...x?movieID=5279
So, here's a quick breakdown:

While the image looks cleaner the contrast is boosted there is some visible edge enhancement. I think that there is a slight cropping on the sides as well but I will have to make some detailed comparisons before I confirm it.

The WORST part however is the manner in which the subs are handled. There are quite a few grammatical mistakes. That is not all though, for some unknown to me reason when longer speech patterns are translated into English they do not appear finished on the screen. Example:

"I wanted to see if you would like to go out and have something to eat"

will appear

"I wanted to see if you would like to go out and"

Why no one paid attention to the subs I have no idea.
