There's also a DVD available that contains both ''My Name is Joe'' with Loach's ''Bread & Roses'':

Oops! Sorry! I genuinely thought it was just one disc!!
Incidentally, HMV (.co.uk) had this in their sale for GBP 9.99 recently - don't know if it is still there or not, but it may be worth a look if you're thinking about ordering this...

My Name is Joe (great film) is also available in a boxset with Riff Raff and Raining Stones All worth a look and very important British films for me.
Review for MNIJ http://www.dvdfever.co.uk/reviews/mynamejo.shtml
Also, look out for Loach's wonderful Kes http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?...192&story=4009
Don't buy the French MNIJ unless you can remove forced subtitles.

boy, haven't been keeping up to date in the international DVD forum, recently, It's a little late to say I have a second copy of the film (single disc) edition that I'd like to get rid of.
Just met up with Peter Mullan a fort night ago (first time I could use this phrase) at a screening of his film "Magdalene Sisters" here in DC, got him to autograph a copy of his film "Orphans" on DVD for me, he is soooo cool.
