Chicago area import rentals?
just moved into the area and I'm looking for stores that rent obscure/import dvds. any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
|
this is the right place to ask however you might want to ask in the "other" forum as well.....there are tons of Chicago people there that might be able to give you a hint or two....
|
Really? I live in Chicaaago and have no idea where imports can be rented! I wish I did!
|
A bit expensive but Facet fits the bill:
http://www.facets.org/ Depends on your definition of obscure, Netflix carries R0/R1 DVDs that chains won't even touch. For asian flicks, go to the respective neighborhoods (Lawrence=Korean, Devon=Indian, Chinatown=you know, Argyle=Vietnamese/Thai, etc.) |

Really? I live in Chicaaago and have no idea where imports can be rented! I wish I did!" Hope you're not sarcastic..... I cant point out to a few in the Niles area where my family lives but am not sure what the original poster is looking for....besides that is the Western burbs not Chicago!! ***** here's brombie's thread from awhile ago: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hlight=chicago http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hlight=chicago |

arg! there has to be some place here! |
YOu can rent some imports over at QED Lasers on Ogden in Westmont.
502 E. Ogden Ave Westmont, IL 60559 630-986-8999 Last time I was there, a month or 2 ago, they even had some non-R1 DVDs. But I can't remember if those were for sale or for rent. Thong |
