Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead - British or Korean?
I am essentially looking to see which of these releases is better. Stoppard's adaptation of his play is available on DVD in both England and Korea. Anybody have any feedback on either?
I believe the Korean might be full-frame only. True? Is the UK version anamporphic?

A quick search on REWIND shows there are four different releases of this movie. Three R2 releases (French, Japanese, and UK), as well as a R4 release. They recommend either the Japanese or UK release, but I am interested to know if anyone out there can give some opinions or recommendations. Any word on a R1 release?

I am not holding my breath for a R1 release. I may need to go Japanese, since with my Daewoo anamorphic PAL is a problem...Thanks for the link, though, that was good to see.

I have the R2 UK. Its a decent transfer and yes its Anamorphic. I recall the opening looked a bit grainy but I was satisfied with the transfer.
