Amazon UK

I just got a region-free DVD player. Has anyone purchased DVD's from Amazon UK from here in the US? What type of purchase method did you use? Can you use a US credit card? I am a newbie at buying anything internationally. Is it safe?

I used a US credit card.

If you sign up you will get a 3 pound coupon just follow the link on their website and make sure you use a different email address and credit card than the us site so you are a "new" customer.

never had any problems from them...just bought some cd's last week and received them in less than a week on standard shipping...Them and streetsonline are the only places I order from in the UK.

They're just as reliable and user-friendly as the regular amazon.com. Also, keep in mind that amazon.co.uk deducts VAT (Value Added Tax) from international orders, so the price you pay will be less than what is listed on the site for British customers. When you place the order it will tell you the actual total.

I've had good luck with Amazon UK. Their shipping is extremely fast too. I haven't had an order take more than 5 days to receive....

I've ordered from them numerous times with no problems. Have West Wing Season 2 (part 2) on pre-order currently.

Shipments to Calif usually take approx 7-10 days.

i will reiterate what everyone has said so far. i have ordered from them lots and they are great. i will be picking up west wing season 2 once they release the entire season box set.

I agree with everyone who has replied...amazon.uk is very easy to order from...like everything I order I try to use American Express just in case...I ordered 28 Days later and it was delivered withing 7 days...

Another Amazon.co.uk satisfied customer. Their customer service is leaps and bounds above Amazon.com too.
