R2 Japan Pressed DVDs

Hi

Where can I find reviews for R2 Japan pressed DVDs for all the english movies ? I am looking for indepth reviews in terms of audio and video in comparison to R1s. There are a couple of DVD region comparison websites but I need more indepth review.
eg. How is the the pressing of Harry Porter CHamber of Secrets R2 Japan in comparison to R1 ?

Thanks

In the specific case of Harry Potter, the disc is being distributed by Warner Home video in both regions. Therefore, since both are NTSC, they almost certainly used the exact same transfer and pressing, and have only changed the region code itself and the subtitle options.

I've had no luck finding an review sites of R2J discs. I do, however, own quite a few.

I recall Japan produces quite good quality LDs back then and I would assume DVD would also be top notch.

I am interested to know about Black Hawk Down DTS and Japan superbit series.

I cannot give you info on the DVDs you mention but I can say, from the DVDs I have bought from CDJapan, that Japan produces the highest quality DVDs I have seen. The downside is that the Japanese DVDs are the most expensive, with the highest shipping costs. Now that the yen is up versus the US dollar, the cost for Japanese DVDs is almost prohibitive.

I live in Japan but rarely buy a dvd here,it's expensive and most of the english movies have the same spec as the US versions. And they are more expensive and the quality for me is a bit better.
