PS2 multi-region

I'm using the a 'DVD region X' to run region 1 dvds on my pal PS2 but the ones I've had up to now haven't been RCE. Will an RCE region 1 dvd run on my ps2 using the region x? Thought I'd better check before I buy one, I'll be wasting my money if it won't work. Thanks for any help in advance..

Definitely will play... the whole point of RCE is to prevent the usage of players that are set to 'all region'. Since DVDRegionX works in such a way that you always have to set to a specific region before playing the disc, RCE can't do anything there.

I play RCE discs all the time on PS2 with DVDRegionX, so no need to worry.
