Cyberhome 500 $85 shipped @ Newegg.com

I just thought I'd let you guys know that while I was pricing a new motherboard, I saw that www.newegg.com has the cyberhome 500 for $75 + $10 Fedex shipping. Still a good deal on a good cheap player...

linky!

Enjoy!

The price has come down $5.00 since then.

Yep, got one on the way from NewEgg for my g/f... if it's half-decent I may pick one up as a spare/backup for my Malata

If you intend to use Progressive Scan feature of this player with a HDTV then I would suggest that you purchase the player from Argus Electronic otherwise you may end up with a player where the Progressive Scan does not work and you will have to send it in to Argus Electronics to get a replacement player.

More information about this player can found at :

They're not on the list of supported formats in the owner's manual. But I've never tried it.

Thats a good thing because i'm a student film maker and i do lots of my own stuff on DVD, and my current Toshiba plays them...but at that price I might just go ahead and keep both players, so i'd have 3 in the house (ps2)
