I am looking to ordera few DVDS from Amazon Japan with a discount (AMZNGCRAFMAY - Y500 off Y1000 - expires 30/05/03 new accounts only). I need opinions on those who have/had these discs.. if they are in fact Anamorphic or just widescreen. I am looking for Anamorphic only.

Of course, there is the list that I run here on the site, but I am sure there are plenty that may not have been confirmed completley.

Here are the ones I am looking to order:

Vegas Vacation
Showgirls (non DTS)
California Man (Encino Man)
Scream 3 DTS
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me DTS

I've got the Austin Powers (part of the trilogy box set they put out) and it's anamorphic.
I'm not 100% sure but I seem to remember looking at Encino Man and seeing it was "16x9 Letterbox". Disney/BV tends to do that a lot with their catalogue titles here.

As an Info..Japan censors all the private parts so Showgirls is gonna be blured here and there
