My Big Fat PAL Question
 

I've had no problems playing PAL VHS tapes on my VCR and TV set. To date I haven't played any PAL DVDs. Will there be a problem playing them? My DVD player is code free and I am ready to buy a PAL DVD.

If your tv is capable of playing them then okay.My tv in Japan is locked to NTSC and cannot play PAL dvd's from Europe.All it displays are some lines and black and white grafics.Even they are region 2 coded like Japan.But I used my laptop and connected the S-Video cable from it to the TV and there was no problem at all with the picture.The picture and the color was fine.

check first if your dvd player can playback PAL. if so, you are all set
