"Little Otik - Otesánek" non-region 1 release?

I just had to watch this great little bizarre film (think, "Basket Case" meets "Little Shop of Horrors" and the visual style of "Amelie") on DVD the other day and was curious to know if the US Region 1 release of this film is the only DVD release of this film? I ask because the full screen transfer seems a tad tight, is this it's OAR? Secondly, while the 4-channel stereo surround sound is an aural treat, it is very annoying to note that the original 6.1 Dolby Digital Surround EX soundtrack was not used for this release. I would love to rehear this movie in it's original intended soundmix, is this available in Europe or elsewhere?

IMDB has the OAR listed as 1.37:1.

...no... and no... however, I understand (vaguely remember having read it somewhere, sometime) that the disc does have optional English subs (many East-European movies on East-European DVDs have these, btw - otherwise I would never have ordered Andrzej Wajda movies from Poland...) ...and I'm pretty certain the disc does not feature a DD 6.1 EX soundtrack...
